Laser App Anywhere supports standard electronic signatures and remote signing signature systems.
Standard electronic signatures collect a signer's printed name, a biometrically generated image representation of their signature/initial, and the current time as determined by the server. Laser App Anywhere takes this information including the time and cryptographically hashes it against the signature image.
Electronic signatures are useful for situations when the rep or agent has all parties to the document present. If signers are not all present then a remote signing authority may be a better option.
This form of signature is ideal for tablet computing where a stylus or finger can be used to directly sign the form. The best environments include Apple IOS, Android, and Windows 8 Metro. Note: on Windows 8 based tablets (Surface and others) you must use the provided stylus (not a finger).
